1.Job Title: Claims and Credit Collection Associate

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

About the Job

  • As a (Senior) Claims Manager (m/f), you are responsible for a portfolio of Nigerian SME customers who are delaying payments with positive economic continuation forecasts. In detail, you lead sophisticated negotiations in the restructuring process on your own.

Key Responsibilities

  • Periodically assessing the economic continuation guidance for existing loans of late-payment companies
  • Decide regularly which loans may be terminated and supervise the termination process
  • Look after insolvent borrowers in the context of e.g. administration, liquidation, debt management plan as well as bankruptcy
  • Manage relationships with insolvency administrators and our legal advisors
  • Work closely with our Legal Department and Risk Management
  • Improve our internal and external processes

Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in banking / finance / receivables management
  • Very good knowledge of Nigerian debt collection processes and applicable insolvency law
  • Experience in the management of bankruptcies
  • Experience in restructuring and risk management
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Assertiveness and bargaining power, strong communication skills
  • Teamwork as well as the ability and willingness to find your way around in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent time management
  • Very good Excel skills.

2.Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM), Distributor Finance

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time

About the Job

  • The role of the BDM, Distributor Finance is to acquire and retain distributors and wholesalers of large manufacturing companies for onward lending. The key focus sectors would be Fast Moving Consumer Goods, followed by Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture, Industrial Goods, etc.
  • The BDM, Distributor Finance is also expected to have an oversight of the overall business segment in relation to client risk assessment, loan origination and monitoring, relationship management, retail business processes, marketing strategy and customer service management.

Key Responsibilities

  • The BDM, Distributor Finance would have oversight on acquiring and managing lending products for the value chain of the consumer goods and manufacturing industry
  • He/She needs to have an excellent working relationship with companies in the manufacturing sector
  • Initiate the Credit Assessment process and ensure disbursement is done within agreed timelines

Location: Lagos, Park View Estate
Job Type: Full Time

About the Job

  • The role of the BDM, POS Finance is to acquire and retain brick and mortar SME clients that have sizeable POS (digital sales) and are suitable for SME Lending. The key focus would be retail-based clients such as Pharmacies/Drug Stores, Restaurants, Supermarkets, Fashion and Electronic stores, etc.
  • The BDM, POS Product is also expected to have an oversight of the overall business segment in relation to client risk assessment, loan origination and monitoring, relationship management, retail business processes, marketing strategy, and customer service management.

Key Responsibilities

  • The BDM, POS Finance would have oversight of retail-based customer acquisition and management
  • He/She needs to build and have an excellent working relationship with major POS Vendors (Unified Payments, Interswitch & Global Accelerex)
  • Initiate the Credit Assessment process and ensure disbursement is done within agreed timelines
  • Loan Monitoring and Vendor SLA Management
  • Have oversight of the Business Development Officers/Associates functions. Overall responsibilities include executing disbursement targets and KYC checks
  • Collaborating with internal team members (Underwriting, Collections and Customer service) to continuously improve the process and create satisfied customers
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

Your Profile
